The Stranger's Dog

The park is quiet tonight. More than normal. Alice can feel it too.

My poodle and I normally come here during the day.

It's only us and a man with a golden retriever who Alice keeps yelping at.

This is not like her at all.

I think that I know that retriever, but not the man.

He just stares at me as we walk past him towards the exit.

I open the gate and a sweet aroma suddenly takes my breath away.

Alice yelps frantically as my body gives out.

The dog belongs to the girl from the missing posters.
